Grant Bickerton

Grant Bickerton, BPsych (Hons), MPsych (Counselling), PhD, is a member of the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Psychological Society (APS). He has been involved in the Christianity and Psychology Interest group of the APS for the past 10 years. After 20 years’ experience in psychological counselling and full time Christian ministry in Australia and overseas, Grant conducted his PhD research at the University of Western Sydney investigating the organizational, psychological, and spiritual variables that promote well-being among Australian Christian workers. Psychological areas of specialty include burnout and well-being at work, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, alcohol and other drug dependence and abuse, behavioural “addictions” (such as pornography and gambling), and the interface of psychology and religion. His research has been published in a variety of peer reviewed psychological journals spanning organisational psychology and the psychology of religion and spirituality.
